Always glad to hear about scientific achievements helping out humankind. In my opinion though, we need to get cracking on wireless energy transfer (or I guess, being able to transfer energy through the air). 🙂

Oh! Look! A greenscreen!
It’s interesting about the plastic bottles throwing off scientific results. I worked at a semiconductor photo-polymer chemical company about 10 years ago. In producing memory chips, the chemicals that are used to create the memory “wafers” have incredibly minute tolerances. It was well known in that company anyway, that all plastics containers carry a much higher risk of molecules of the packaging breaking off and mixing with the liquid. Even glass will, but at much lower rates. Time is also a factor.
Too bad this type of information wasn’t better known. It isn’t really a new discovery. 🙁
Your head and hand gestures are so cute it makes me want to scream. So I hope you will forgive me when I say that you should probably use them a little more sparingly. Throw in a little *computer* science news occasionally and I will love you even more.
